Richard A. Green is the principal and owner of the Law Offices of Richard A. Green. Mr. Green graduated from the Wayne State University Law School in 1984 and was a recipient of the Max Smitt Scholarship Award for academic excellence and financial need. After graduating from law school, Mr. Green served nine (9) years as an associate attorney learning his craft, primarily creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, commercial and real estate law. In 1993, he formed The Law Offices of Richard A. Green. Mr. Green is admitted to practice law in all U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in the State of Michigan as well as all State Courts. Mr. Green was included in the Dbusiness magazine exclusive 2010 list of Metro Detroit Top Lawyers and has consistently earned an AV rating from his peers as a pre-eminent attorney. David B. Drasnin became affiliated with the firm in 1996 and specializes in creditors’ rights, foreclosure and real estate matters, title resolution, informal dispute resolution, administrative hearings, collections and compliance matters. Mr. Drasnin is a 1985 graduate of theMichigan State University School of Business, with a B.A. in Accounting. Mr. Drasnin has been a certified public accountant since 1987. After three (3) years in public accounting, Mr. Drasnin enrolled at the University of Detroit School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1991. Mr. Drasnin manages the firm’s real estate foreclosure department and is adept at detecting and resolving the myriad of technical problems and title issues that can become obstacles to timely and effective processing. He also supervises the firm’s collection group, ensuring compliance with state and federal debt collection statutes and regulations. Mr. Drasnin is admitted to practice in all courts within the State of Michigan.

Mark M. Porterfield
Mark M. Porterfield joined the firm in 2002 and works primarily with consumer bankruptcy matters, landlord and tenant, commercial litigation and consumer collections. Mr. Porterfield received his B.A. from Wayne State University in 1997, cum laude and was a recipient of the Presidential Merit Scholarship. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Wayne State University Law School in 2000. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Michigan. Mr. Porterfield makes frequent court appearances and is a zealous and persuasive advocate. Being a frequent participant in state court and bankruptcy court proceedings, Mr. Porterfield is well-known to the judges and court administrators and has demonstrated a keen ability to get things done. Despite his busy schedule, Mr. Porterfield is always available to clients for questions or advice.
